WONDERWOOL WALES TOTE BAG DESIGN COMPETITION 2026

Design the Official Wonderwool Wales 2026 Tote Bag!

It will be Wonderwool Wales's 20th year in 2026, and we want to mark this milestone in style. We’re inviting artists, designers, hobbyists, and creative minds to design the official tote bag for our anniversary show.

Celebrate our 20th Anniversary with your creativity ! Your design could be seen (and carried!) by thousands at the show. The winner will receive 2 tickets to the show and £100 in gift vouchers to spend at the show with our exhibitors, or online with our exhibitors

The winning design will be printed and sold at the Wonderwool Wales 2026 event, taking place 25–26 April 2026, and will be featured across our website and social media.

The competition will be closing on 15th December, 2025.

    WONDERWOOL WALES TOTE BAG DESIGN COMPETITION 2026

    Terms & Conditions

    1. Eligibility – The competition is open to individuals aged 16 years & older. If aged under
    18, the participant must have parental or guardian permission. Participants can be
    professional artists, students, hobbyists or members of the public. Employees,
    contractors, exhibitors/organisers and immediate family members of the above
    mentioned, are not eligible.


    2. Design Requirements – Designs must be original, the artist’s own work (not AI
    generated), unpublished work and not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks or other
    intellectual property rights. The design must include the theme – 20th Anniversary of
    Wonderwool Wales, 2006 – 2026 and should be relevant to the content and ethos of the
    show. Submissions must be in high-resolution digital format (PDF or JPEG) and suitable
    for printing onto a black tote bag – Maxiumum print area 31cm wide x 33cm high.


    3. Submission Guidelines – Each participant may submit one design only. Completed
    application forms and design files must be submitted by 15th December 2025 via the online submission form. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.


    4. Judging Criteria – Designs will be evaluated based on: Originality and creativity,
    relevance to the 20th Anniversary theme, visual impact and practicality for tote bag
    printing, and overall design appeal.


    5. Winner Selection – The winning design will be selected by a panel of judges chosen by
    the Wonderwool team. The winner will be notified via email by 7th January 2026 and announced publicly on our website and social media.


    6. Prizes – The winning design will be featured on the official tote bag for the 20th
    Anniversary Show. The winner will receive £100 of Wonderwool Gift Vouchers that can be
    spent with exhibitors at the Wonderwool Wales 2026 Show, or with our exhibitors online.
    No cash alternative will be offered unless explicitly stated.


    7. Usage Rights – By entering the competition, participants grant Wonderwool Wales Ltd
    the right to use, reproduce and publish the submitted design in marketing materials,
    merchandise and promotional activities related to the event. The winning artist will be
    credited where possible, but no additional royalties or payments will be made beyond the
    stated prize.


    8. General Conditions – The organisers reserve the right to reject any submission deemed
    inappropriate or not in line with the competition’s goals. The decision of the judges is final
    and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition may be modified or
    cancelled at the organiser’s discretion.


    9. Publicity – The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity and agrees to the
    use of their name and design in promotional material, online and offline.
    10. Data Protection – Participant contact details will be used solely for the purposes of the
    competition and not shared with third parties. By submitting an entry, you consent to the
    use of your name and submitted artwork in promotional materials, website, merchandise,
    social media and press releases.


    11. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
