Exhibiting at Wonderwool

We welcome applications from everyone regardless of colour, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality or disability, our only criteria is the standard of work as we strive to offer our visitors a good mix of high quality products.

If you are applying for the first time please give a good description of the work/products that you would be offering, together with at least 6 good images showing a variety of your work/products. Our initial impressions of an application are made on the description and images so do make sure that these are attention grabbing. Although we do check out web sites, facebook etc if we need further information, there are only 3 of us and we don’t have time to make extensive investigations so generally this is only done when we have several applications for similar products, so do make those initial images really good.

Wonderwool Wales is renowned for its friendly and efficient systems for set up and breakdown. From arriving, registering and unloading to restocking on Saturday evening and to the eventual homeward journey. Our stewards are there to ensure that you are moved as safely and quickly as is possible. See some of exhibitors comments.

Useful Stand Information

Parking for Exhibitors is free for the weekend and is reasonably close to the halls. Vehicles need to be removed to the car park as soon as you have unloaded to enable others to use the unloading space around the halls.

There is onsite camping available for tents and caravans/motorhomes next to the halls, either with or without electric hook ups. These are booked through the application form and a camping pass will be issued to you within your Exhibitor Pack when you arrive to set up.

If you are allocated a stand it is advisable to book accommodation early if required as every where locally is usually booked well in advance of the show. You can visit the Visit Wales website or Mid Wales Tourism site for information on B&Bs and camping in the area.

Wooden shelling, painted white, is provided with the stands, this is approximately 8 foot high. The best ways to fix things is either by hooks over the top of the shelling, (some people hang 'meat' hooks parallel and then place / fix pole across (good for hanging coat hangers from etc). The depth of the shelling is approx 2.5 inches so large meat hooks will be required. You can also put tacks into the TOP of the shelling.

Push pins, drawing pins, bluetack are okay if very carefully and completely removed afterwards. Nails and screws into the face of the shelling are NOT allowed neither is sticky backed Velcro. The general rule is – whatever goes on has to come off at the end -. A staple gun can be used but you must take out the staples at the end.
